Updated as on Dec 31, 2021. The online application window for Joint Entrance Examination  (JEE)  Main 2021 will begin from Dec 16, 2020. Eligible candidates can register for JEE Main 2021 exam online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The application window JEE Main exam 2021will open shortly. According to the information brochure, the last date to register for JEE Main 2021 is Jan 16, 2021 . JEE Main exams for admission to IITs and other technical schools concluded on Sunday with government sources indicating an attendance of around 75 to 80% of the total 8.58 lakh registered candidates. The Supreme Court has given a go ahead to the exams against the appeal to postpone/cancel. JEE Main 2020 admit card will be released on the official website of JEE Main & NTA official website of NTA. It is being told that a bench of Justice Arun Mishra has dismissed the petition demanding the adjournment of NEET and JEE Main National Testing Agency (NTA) gives one last opportunity to submit afresh or to complete the online application form for JEE (Main) 2020. Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday announced the dates for JEE Main and NEET exams.

The JEE Mains 2020 Examination is being held in the country as one of the most popular entrance examinations for admissions in top engineering colleges of India (IIT/NIT/IIIT and others) in undergraduate engineering (UG) and 5 year Integrated programmes. JEE Main Exam Syllabus: JEE Main Jan 2020 will be conducted to allot seats to various candidates in IIITs, NITs, and CFTIs. That is why it becomes crucial to scoring some great marks in JEE Main 2020 to get into one of these above listed prestigious institutes. And that is only possible if you start preparing according to the syllabus prescribed. The syllabus for IIT JEE Main this year will remain the same, no major changes are expected from the new conducting body, NTA. You will have to cover all the topics / concepts of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from class 11th and 12th, which are part of the JEE Main syllabus. Along with NCERT books, aspirants can study from JEE reference books. It is also important to solve questions from past year papers of JEE Main to know what type of questions you can expect in the examination.

 

 

The language of the JEE Main paper would remain the same i.e English, Hindi and Gujarati (in some test centers).

  • To avoid much confusion, the syllabus of JEE Mains  2020 has also been kept the same.

The attempt limit of JEE Main will also be same as the previous year i.e 3 attempts. But there is still a confirmation required from the authorities, whether it will be 3 attempts taken consecutively or 3 attempts taken in 3 years. Note that, admission session and the counseling will be held only once, unlike the JEE Main exam. However, there will be no changes in the procedure of the JEE Advanced.   • Question Type: Multiple Choice Based Questions
  • Medium Of Language: English, Hindi, and Gujarati ( across some regional test centers of Daman, Diu, Gujarat and Nagar Haveli)
  • No. Of Questions To Be Attempted: 30 questions each from PCM – For BE/B Tech and for B.Arch/B. Plan, 50 questions from aptitude section, 30 questions from Mathematics and 2 questions based on drawing section.
  • Marking Criteria: For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: A mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer and no marks will be deducted if a question is left unanswered.
