VGSoM with NMIMS Mumbai vs IIM Ranchi -are among the top Business Schools of country, Out of these VGSoM and NMIMS offers MBA Degree while IIM Ranchi till now offers PGDM Degree. They may also start offering MBA, instead of PGDM, in future following the footsteps of some of the other IIMs.
Vinod Gupta school of Management, IIT Kharagpur (VGSoM) is the first among the IITs in India to start offering management education. Thier MBA in Business Analytics is offered along with ISI Kolkata, IIM Calcutta which is a 2 year PGDM course in PGDBA (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics). VGSOM also offers Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM). For this program tuition fee is just 3 Lacs, which is a huge differentiator in terms of Fees.
NMIMS Mumbai, one of the oldest Business School in this list with a batch size which is almost 3 times than IIM Ranchi and 4 Times than VGSoM. IIM Ranchi is 10 year old Business School of the IIM family but they still do no have a permanent campus, (expected to be coming up soon) and presently runs in temporary campus at Suchana Bhawan in the heart of Ranchi city. IIM Ranchi offers PGDM and PGDHM program. VGSOM and IIM Ranchi both accept CAT Score while NMIMS Mumbai accept NMIMS' own NMAT test score conducted by NMAT by GMAC. NMIMS Mumbai has opened its application for the 2 year MBA Program in July 2019.
ROI wise VGSOM KGP is this best option, while in placement, learning experience and campus life, all three are almost similar and at par.
