Updated as on Oct 28, 2018. BITSAT 2019: Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) is an entrance test for students who seek admission in BITS Pilani / Goa /Hyderabad campuses. BITS Pilani is India’s most renowned and reputed private college for engineering considered equivalent to the top IITs.  The college is known for its campus facilities, world class infrastructure, diverse student base and experienced faculty members. It has 3 campuses across India, namely BITS Pilani Campus, KK Birla Goa, and Hyderabad. Every year more than 2 lacs candidate seat in the examination for the 2500 seats.

The competition is stiff as BITS is the top private engineering college in the country. Most engineering aspirants preparing for BITSAT also prepare for JEE simultaneously. It has been observed that while both exams follow the same syllabus, the BITSAT Exam Pattern differ from the JEE’s and so does its marking scheme. While the JEE focuses on conceptual learning, BITSAT Exam Pattern focuses more on speed and accuracy. This post reveals the BITSAT Cutoff which you can refer now that you know your BITSAT 2018 scores. Please note the Dubai campus has a different process for admission.

The input to the M.Sc. (Hons.) is through the entrance test (BITSAT) with the minimum qualification being a pass in the 10+2 system with at least 80% marks in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. There are about 30 students admitted every year for the M.Sc. (Hons.) program.
